Terms of use
These terms apply when you use this site. By using it you agree to them; if you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. Nature and purpose of the content
Curacao Bookmakers is an information site. It describes bookmakers, their licences and their published terms so that readers can compare them. We are not a bookmaker, we do not offer gambling and we take no bets, deposits or stakes of any kind.
Nothing on the site is financial, legal or betting advice. Ratings and reviews are our assessment of the information we have checked, not a promise of how a bookmaker will treat you. Who writes them is explained on the about page.
2. Age limit and regional suitability
In most cases, the minimum legal age for gambling in Great Britain is 18. We expect every visitor to this site to be 18 or over, and anyone younger should not use it to look for a bookmaker.
Gambling law differs between countries and regions, and what is lawful in one place may not be lawful in another. Checking the law where you live, and following it, is your responsibility. A review on this site describes a bookmaker's licence and terms. It does not say that the bookmaker is open to you or lawful for you to use.
3. Accuracy of information
Figures on this site are taken from the bookmakers' own published terms and from the Curacao Gaming Authority online gaming licence register as they stand when a page is updated. Our team tests the bookmakers it covers and checks every fact before a page is published.
A bookmaker can change its terms, offers, limits and licence status at any time, and a change may not yet appear on our page. Read the bookmaker's current terms before you register or deposit, and treat our figures as a guide. We do not guarantee that every page is complete or free of error.
Our ratings follow the method on the how we rate page.
4. Intellectual property
The text, layout, ratings and original graphics on this site belong to Curacao Bookmakers. You may read the site and quote short extracts for personal use, with a link back to the page you took them from.
Bookmaker names, logos and other marks shown here belong to their owners. We show them only to identify the bookmaker being described, and their use does not mean that the owner has approved or endorsed this site.
Copying whole pages, republishing our reviews or ratings as your own, or using the site's content in a commercial product needs our written permission, which you can ask for at the contact address given at the end of these terms.
5. Acceptable use
Use the site for lawful, personal purposes only. Do not use automated tools to scrape or copy it at scale, do not try to overload it, break into it or probe it for weaknesses, and do not interfere with how it works for other visitors.
Do not use the site to break the law, to mislead anyone about who you are, or to present our content as someone else's work. We may restrict access for anyone who breaks these rules.
6. External links and affiliate links
The site links to bookmakers and to other outside websites, including regulators and help services. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content or terms, and a link is not an endorsement. Check the terms of any site before you use it.
Some links to bookmakers may earn us a commission. A commission does not change the facts we report or the ratings we give, and no bookmaker can pay for a rating or a place on the site. How this works is set out on the affiliate disclosure page.
7. Limitation of liability
This site is provided as it is, for information only. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site, from relying on anything on it, or from dealing with a bookmaker we describe or link to, including any money lost by gambling.
The decision to open an account, deposit or place a bet is yours. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or any right you have as a consumer that cannot be taken away.
8. Responsible gambling
Gambling can harm your finances, your health and your relationships. Only gamble with money you can afford to lose, set limits before you start and stop if it stops being enjoyable. If you have chosen to self-exclude, stay excluded.
Help services and their contact details are listed on our responsible gambling page.
9. Applicable law and changes
These terms are governed by the law that applies in the UK, and any dispute about them is subject to that law.
We may change these terms from time to time. A changed version is posted on this page and applies from the moment it appears, and using the site afterwards means you accept the change. If a provision is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the terms stay in force.
Questions about these terms go to info@curacaobookmakers.co.uk.
