A Curacao licence only counts once its number matches a line on the CGA register, so check it before you open an account, and read the status as well as the number. Our team tests the bookmakers and checks every fact before a page is published. Licence numbers and company names are matched on the register, never taken from a bookmaker's own pages alone.

Where a bookmaker prints its licence

The licence number and the licensee company are taken from the bookmaker's own terms, so that is the page to open first.

Of the bookmakers we review, Cloudbet is the one whose files record a printed number: OGL/2024/328/0599.

Checking the number on the CGA register

  1. Copy the licence number and the company name exactly as the bookmaker prints them.
  2. Open the CGA License register page and follow Online gaming licenses to the PDF. Check the Last updated date at the top of the file. The file we read runs to 20 pages.
  3. Search the PDF for the full licence number, prefix included.
  4. Search again for the company name and for the company registration number. All three should point to the same line.
  5. Read the line across: License number, Licensee, Company type (B2B or B2C), Company registration number, Issued, Expires and Status license.
  6. Write down the date you read it. A line you find today can change.

If nothing matches, treat the licence as unconfirmed. When that happens we say plainly that we did not find the licensee on the register.

What the register status means

The register overviews do not guarantee current validity, because a licensee's status can change over time, and no rights can be derived from them. A line on the register is a lead, not proof.

Assessment in progress appears on many lines. On the register we read, it sits beside licences whose Expires date is 9 October 2026 or earlier. Some lines with a past Expires date show no status, and so do the lines with later dates. An empty status is therefore not a statement of validity either.

The enforcement register is a separate document, last updated 14 September 2026. Its columns are License number, Licensee, Company registration, Effective From and Status. It lists only actions that change a licence's status, such as revoked, suspended or not extended. It is not a full list of CGA enforcement measures, and it may not be fully accurate or up to date. Novatech Solutions N.V. (OGL/2024/1790/1174) appears as Revoked from May 22, 2026, and Bellona N.V. (OGL/2024/1314/0526) as Not extended by the CGA from June 25, 2025. The licensees in the table below do not appear on it.

The CGA home page also carries a notice that its online gaming portal is offline and that it is moving to a new regulatory platform.

Licences we found for the bookmakers we review

Licence numbers are as the bookmaker prints them, and every bookmaker we review is on Curacao bookmakers A to Z.

The register lines behind the table:

  • Cloudbet: License number OGL/2024/328/0599, Licensee Halcyon Super Holdings B.V., Company type B2C, Company registration number 148526, Issued 23-Nov-25, Expires 23-May-26, Status license Assessment in progress.
  • Betmac: matched by the licensee Sefiarray B.V. and company registration number 155219. License number OGL/2024/842/0350, Company type B2C, Issued 25-Jan-26, Expires 25-Jul-26, Status license Assessment in progress.
  • Rolletto, Zizobet, Cosmobet, Goldenbet and Velobet: each file holds one register line, for Santeda International B.V.: License number OGL/2024/1798/1048, Company type B2C, Company registration number 151296, Issued 24-Jun-25, Expires 24-Dec-25, Status license Assessment in progress. We do not treat that line as confirmed for any of the five.

On all three lines the Expires date is already in the past. The newest lines are ordered by issue date on New Curacao betting sites.

A Curacao licence and a UK licence

A Curacao licence is issued by the CGA. It is not a UK Gambling Commission licence. It gives you a licence number and a named company to look up on a public register.

The Gambling Commission does not resolve or decide complaints about gambling transactions. Complain to the bookmaker first. The CGA also lists certificate holders for Alternative Dispute Resolution, on a list last updated 31 August 2026:

  • Resolvo Curaçao N.V
  • ADR Curaçao B.V.
  • Cadre BV
  • EGIS-FZCO
  • ABC-ADR Limited
  • iGamingADR Limited (formerly Blue Sea Limited)
  • Independent Betting Adjunction Service (IBAS)

The list does not match these bodies to bookmakers, so ask the bookmaker which one it uses.

GamStop blocks accounts with gambling companies licensed in Great Britain. A bookmaker abroad is never a way around a self-exclusion, and someone who has self-excluded should not open an account with one. If gambling is causing you harm, the National Gambling Helpline is free on 0808 8020 133 (England and Scotland) and the NHS Wales helpline on 0808 2819 265, both 24 hours a day. More help is on our responsible gambling page.

Questions

Which body keeps the Curacao licence register?

The Curaçao Gaming Authority, known as the CGA. It is the regulator for the online gaming industry under the National Ordinance on Games of Chance (LOK).

What does Assessment in progress mean on the CGA register?

The pages we read do not define it. Note it down as a status, and do not read it as proof that a licence is valid or has lapsed.

Can I complain to the CGA about a bookmaker?

The CGA pages we read describe no complaints route for players. The register is for checking licences, so raise the problem with the bookmaker first.

What is the difference between OGL and CGA licence numbers?

Both prefixes sit in the License number column of the same register, for example OGL/2024/219/0188 (Pitta Plus B.V.) and CGA/2025/2742/1367 (Softrios N.V.). The register does not explain the prefixes, so we read nothing into them.

If you think we are wrong

When a bookmaker changes a term, or a fact here is wrong, our team reads its pages and the register again and corrects the page. How we check is on the how we rate page.
